Interactive Firm to Become Division of Knoxville’s Second-Largest Software Developer
Knoxville, Tenn. – Efficience, Knoxville’s second-largest software development and consulting company, announced today its merger with Knoxville-based Blue Media Boutique, an interactive creative services firm. The Blue Media Boutique brand, established in Knoxville in 2008 and led by Tori W. Rose, will become a trademarked division of Efficience to provide user experience and interface design for Efficience’s custom application software.
Senior Project Manager Joins Efficience, LLC Efficience, LLC (May 2011)
– The latest addition to the Efficience team, Jody Carter has spent the last 15 years in the software and information technology industry, managing projects and technical teams. He acted as Manager of Technical Support in the IT Division of the major toy manufacturer Mattel for 5 years, and then moved to Las Colinas, TX to work as a Team Manager for Microsoft Corporation. Carter returned to Knoxville to become the Director of Application Development and Support for Regal Entertainment Group headquartered here in Knoxville. Carter has led highly collaborative project teams to design and implement innovative products. He has extensive experience designing and implementing e-commerce solutions, interactive web, and financial and supply chain management software. Carter also managed and coordinated support for enterprise systems in geographically distributed environments.
